Healthy Living Cardiology

While Dr. Jacoby was good, I can't say the same for his front office staff. I had an appointment scheduled, and thirty minutes before the appointment, I received a voicemail stating that I had an outstanding bill and wouldn't be seen until it was paid. I understand that doctors need to be compensated for their work, but my insurance company has sent the checks. I have documentation that the checks were sent. I have explained the insurance company's procedure to the office manager and encouraged her to call the insurance company to confirm the checks were forthcoming. Giving me 30 minutes to deal with it before my appointment is unprofessional and, frankly, rude. Additionally, the office manager was not in the office and was unavailable by phone to address the issue. My appointment has been canceled, everyone is aggravated, and I need to find a new cardiologist because I refuse to deal with incompetent front office staff.

I was able to get an appointment on fairly short notice! Very attentive Doctor, who explained recommended tests, what to expect, what they will reveal & rule out, etc. Very friendly staff who provided immediate assistance and clear instructions. They are available via phone and email. Very easy to make an online appointment. Immediate follow-up via email. Immediate support for patient portal. Clear instructions regarding parking and what to bring to the appointment. Very nice updated office.

My husband is a new patient of Dr. Jacobi. From our very first visit, we were impressed with the courtesy and efficiency of the office staff - and our appointment was on time. We used to inevitably wait about an hour at our former cardiologist office. Dr Jacobi is kind, thorough and explains things well so we can understand. His office staff followed through on setting appointments for tests and worked hard to keep within the time frame of my husband's surgery. Krystle, in particular, followed up with needed connections, keeping me informed, and sending needed info to my husband's primary care physician and his surgeon and to my husband's patient portal.
