Worse place to get care. I had a scheduled appointment for a urine drug screen at 10:30 a.m. Despite arriving on time, receptionist Paula Marquez informed me that I would be required to wait approximately two hours before being seen because she is doing receptionist, also giving injections and doing procedures.
Furthermore, when I requested to speak with a manager regarding this matter, Ms. Marquez declined my request and refused to provide any contact information or guidance on how to file a formal complaint. Her actions were dismissive, unprofessional, and demonstrated poor customer service, especially given the importance of timely completion of medical and employment-related testing.
I expect to be treated with respect, transparency, and professionalism when attending a scheduled appointment. This experience fell significantly short of those expectations. I ask that this incident be reviewed and addressed accordingly, and that appropriate corrective actions be taken to ensure future patients are not subjected to similar treatment

I haven't had such a pleasant experience before at an urgent care. Not only were we able to walk in and be seen in the next 10 min but we were treated with care and kindness. Everything was efficient and I couldn't be more thankful for the doctor being so thorough and thoughtful in asking for symptoms and explaining diagnosis. I wish I gotten his name and remembered it well. But overall great experience would come again! I would say, having an aftercare paperwork be given back would be something I would've felt awesome about but the doctor explained everything well.
Thank you!

The staff at this location went above and beyond to assist me with my injury. From the moment I arrived, they were attentive and compassionate, taking the time to assess my situation thoroughly. They provided clear explanations of my treatment options and ensured I felt comfortable throughout the process. Their prompt and professional care made a significant difference in my recovery, and I truly appreciate the support and kindness they extended during this challenging time., they were attentive and compassionate, taking the time to assess my situation thoroughly. Don't come here for sports injuries/xrays. AND Terrible customer service. I had an appointment at 1:15. It took the receptionist a while to even acknowledge me to check me in. Once checked in, I was informed that they were behind schedule and on lunch and unsure when I would be seen. On top of that, although the website says they provide X-rays - THEY DO NOT. I wish I knew this before wasting my time. Now, 45 minutes after my appointment time I decided to cut my losses and just leave thanks to the lack of care and responsiveness of this clinic.

Unfortunately I suffered a workplace injury recently. It was my first experience with a workers' compensation claim and I was referred to this clinic by the insurer as the designated occupational health provider. I was very disappointed in the care I received. I was in pain when I arrived with a knee injury. I found this provider to be very dismissive of my injury and the pain I was in. I decided to see my own provider at the Veteran's hospital (VA) in Long Beach. The VA excused me from work for a minimum of 5 days - this clinic didn't advise any rest days. The VA told me I should not be standing or walking with an injury I found out was a severe strain - this clinic recommended a 5 minute break from standing at work every 1-2 hours. The VA provided a knee brace - this clinic said they were out of knee braces. The VA provided antibiotics for the knee that was badly scraped - this clinic put an ointment on and bandaged me up. The VA provided X-rays during the same visit - this clinic said I needed a referral for an X-ray and I'm still waiting on the referral. The VA provided wheelchair assistance to my car - this clinic has limited parking and I wasn't offered any assistance so I limped back to my car a block away.
It was a horrible experience. The VA can be a difficult system to navigate but I'm thankful I have these services as a Veteran especially given the complete lack of concern for my wellbeing exhibited at Carbon Health.
I don't know if this clinic is just another disappointing cog in the machine that is California's workers' compensation program but they need to do better. People suffer legitimate injuries at work. Employees should have better care. So, do better.
