I recently visited Dr. Rau on April 14th and May 6th and was impressed by Angela at the front desk. Despite reading some negative reviews about support staff, my experience with Angela was the opposite. She was competent, helpful, and went the extra mile during both appointments.
It's important to note that Angela is the only person managing the front desk, handling calls, appointments, results, and inquiries. While not ideal, this is common in many offices today. Considering this, Angela does an excellent job. I hope previous complaints don't refer to her.
Remember, we're all human, and one less-than-perfect interaction shouldn't define someone's overall helpfulness. In my experience, Angela is a valuable asset.
I highly recommend Dr. Rau's office, especially due to Angela's outstanding support. Please give her a raise!

This office can be improved by showing respect to the elderly patients from the front desk through to some of the support staff with nurse poor call back performance. Dr. Rao is my cardiologist since he performed an emergency angioplasty in January 2016. He is a gentleman and I am sorry to have to report such an often incoherent office. I had a heart monitor for 48 hours beginning 13 January and was told to call for results on the following Tuesday, 21 January. I did but no result and was told to call back in a couple of days by the clueless receptionist who told me to call again in "a day or two." I called back on 27 January (6 days later) and the hapless receptionist repeated her non answers to my question for the results. Axa, formerly at the front desk, is now in the back office. She's missed.
