Dr. Kong is very personable, a highly competent and expertly skilled cardiologist. His bedside manner is very informative and reassuring. I believe that I am very fortunate that Dr' Kong was on duty at CMH in Ventura the day that I suffered my heart attack in 2023, Before the procedure, he explained to me exactly what was occurring with my heart and what the procedure would entail. He instilled in me the utmost confidence in his expertise. After my procedure he came to my recovery room and explained to me completely, along with diagrams and X-rays, everything that he had done and discussed with me in detail, the plan for my recovery and after-care. He answered all of my many questions in a comfortable, relatable manner. My office visits for after-care with Dr. Kong have been exceptional. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Kong, he's a wonderful person to be in the care of. His office staff are very friendly and professional as well.

The 5 stars are for Dr. Kong, himself. I used to take my grandfather to him and for the past 15 or more years my mom has seen him, too. He has a calm, thoughtful bedside manner and knows his stuff! I accompany my mom to her appointments, because we like extra ears for all the info. Dr. Kong is patient with all her questions, respects that she looks things up and can ask smart questions about her health, is willing to get necessary tests done and takes as much time with her as she needs. He knows his subject thoroughly and is up on the latest studies. We've been so fortunate to have him for all my mom's heart needs. Sure hope he stays in practice a long, long time!

had to convince the doctor to even try to figure out what was going on with me, because he walked into the room guessed what was wrong without talking to me and then i had to spend like 15 min convincing him he didnt aleady know everything that was going on with me. eventually ran a few test but nothing came of any of them. wore a heart monitor for 2 weeks that picked up atrial fibrillation, was told it was nothing to be worried about. waisted so much time and money of mine, i never ended up seeing another doctor and still live in constant pain and with irregular heart beats. thanks ig. also was told by one guy he "didnt want to diagnose me because i reminded him too much of his daughter, and the diagnosis id be getting was a grimm one" thanks bud that's helpful, totally means i dont live with the grim reality undiagnosed now.
