I would highly recommend Dr. Tyler to anyone and everyone. This was my first time visiting a cardiologist, so I felt a lot of anxiety and uncertainty. As soon as Dr. Tyler walked into the room, his friendly demeaner and confidence caught my attention. He shook my hand, introduced himself with a smile, and asked a few questions to get a better feel for my situation. With what seemed like genuine care, he explained his understanding of what was happening, and his recommended action plan. I was so impressed that I had to look up his bio on the OC heart institute's website, and what stuck with me was this quote: "The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease." I truly believe that he lives by these words. Thankfully, in my follow up visit my test results were good. I thanked him for being a great doctor and making me feel at ease when I felt so much uncertainty.

Started having chest pains and heart palpitations so I saw Thuy T. Le and Lawrence Santora. Thuy Le was rude and arrogant. She doesn't listen or understand patients' needs. Went through a complete cardiac work up with both Doctors. They found nothing wrong. My problems continued to get worse. I decided to get another CT Scan of my coronary arteries in another country. They found three different places in my coronary arteries that were aprox 25% blocked. I immediately started a strict vegan diet and after 6-8 months, all of my problems disappeared; no chest pain, no palpitations, no ringing in my ears, and no high blood pressure. OC Heart Institute is a group of worthless people. They truly do not care about making patients better.

I believe that OC Heart Institute and Research is an excellent group of doctors who care about their patients. You will find the best Cardio/Vascular doctors right here and a friendly staff who are there to help. I feel like my heart health is in good hands and if I have concerns I call and they are addressed.

I cannot recommend going here as the cardiologist I saw, Dr Kelly Tucker, seems to be more interested in telling me who he was and how good he is. He wouldn't even give me a chance to ask questions just ignored me and talked over me. When I was making a follow up appointment, I asked the scheduler if she thought I'd be able to ask my questions at that time. She looked confused but said yes. I even called the office a few hours later at approximately 2:30 and was put thru to the answering service, I had a question about the meds I had. She had the on call Dr call me. I told him my concerns and questions and he told me to call back on Monday to speak with the doctor. I called back Monday and left a message with Dr Tucker's nurse who on her answering machine says she listens to messages at the end of the day and to please give her 24 hours to respond. I waited. But it took 3-4 days and she didn't even cover my original reason. So far I have called the office three times and it's taken 4-6 days for each response. I know I may not be as serious as some other patients but my questions are valid too. Maybe they're just too busy with other patients and can't give the time anymore to new patients and their concerns any longer I don't know but I know it's not right.

So my Doctor there is Dr. Thuy Le and she is truly my savior. I'm 22 but I have issues with Tachycardia all the time. For months I constantly felt like I couldn't breathe and my heart was just beating too darn fast. From Doc to Doc I went tor around a year just trying to find someone who would do anything since most just chalked it up to anxiety or whatever because of my age. It was SO annoying and only made me feel frustrated and more uncomfortable all the time. Dr. Le is really great because she was the only one who took my issues seriously and helped me to feel better . Thank you, Dr. Le.
