Dr. Nafiz Kiciman is board certified in Pediatric Cardiology and Neonantal-Perinatal Medicine. Prior to joining CHOC, Dr. Kiciman attended medical school at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey. He completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine in Tulsa. Dr. Kiciman served his fellowship training in Pediatric Cardiology and Neonantal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of California, San Diego, Department of Pediatrics. Dr. Kiciman speaks fluent Turkish.

We just met Dr. Kiciman today at our special ultrasound to see if our baby had a heart defect (we were told at our anatomy scan she might). Words won't ever describe how much i appreciate you doctor Kiciman. We met Dr. kiciman at my 30 week ultrasound. I was previously followed by another pediatric cardiologist who gave us a wrong diagnose with our baby's heart. Dr. Kiciman did not confirm the previous diagnose but found that only one of the 2 heart conditions previously diagnosed, was true. This meant less risk, only 1 open heart surgery instead of 3. He never blamed the previous doctor saying he was wrong, and this makes you a true professional. Thank you so much.
Dr. Kiciman is an excellent cardiologist. He has walked us through three open heart surgeries with our young son. He goes above and beyond for his patients.
