This appointment was a shockingly poor experience. Sherifi walked in looking irritated and disengaged, spoke to me as though I were wasting her time, and made no effort to listen or understand my concerns. Every time I tried to explain my symptoms or family history, she seemed visibly annoyed.
The exam was perfunctory--one quick listen with a stethoscope, a few clipped comments, and she was gone. The entire visit lasted only minutes, yet my insurance was billed close to $1,000.
There was no curiosity, no explanation, and absolutely no sense of empathy. I left the office feeling belittled, dismissed, and no closer to any kind of medical help. I felt like an annoyance, not a human being that mattered.
The emphasis was on quickly getting me through and moving things on to future expensive visits. She offered me no option other a cardioversion, which from my armchair research is only 20% effective after a year. I needed an "Electrophysiologist" as my best option. Nothing was discussed with me, only WHAT SHE WAS GOING TO DO TO ME. Then I find out she should have NEVER been assigned to me. Calling her "Shameful" is generous.
Please people, do your own research.
If you want a doctor who actually listens, shows basic respect, or provides thoughtful care, I recommend finding someone else.

Very efficient. My procedure was completed quickly.. My only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the public restrooms now have a keypad on them. Difficult for patients who need access.

Dr. Nistella is my mom's favorite doctor and the kindest person I've met in healthcare. He is such a wonderful doctor and super dupper human!

Great Cardiology Service Line. Timely, excellent communications and follow up. Registration process efficient, clinical staff puts you at ease, works efficiently, and genuinely seems to care that all concerns are addressed. Reviewed my portal information prior to my arrival, which helped avoid unnecessary rehash of "old news" and made focus on current concerns efficient.

Dr. Nishtala is caring, professional and knowledgeable. He has given me consistently good care since I started seeing him almost a year ago.
