I recently had mitral valve heart surgery performed by cardiothoracic surgeon Dr. Raffi A. Kotoyan, MD and I can't express enough how grateful I am for his expertise and care. From the very first consultation, Dr.Kotoyan demonstrated not only vast medical knowledge but also a genuine concern for my well-being. He has a very calm and gentle personality and took the time to explain my heart condition and the procedure to repair the valve, while also answering all of my questions and concerns with patience and clarity. The surgery itself was a complete success -- no more leaking valve (regurgitation.) Dr. Kotoyan and his team ensured that I felt comfortable and reassured throughout the entire process. Their skill as a surgeon is truly exceptional, and I felt confident knowing I was in such capable hands. Post-surgery, Dr. Kotoyan and his team continued to provide attentive follow-up care, always checking in on my recovery progress and ensuring I had everything I needed for a smooth healing process. The surgery was such a success I was able to leave the hospital in 3 days. I am very thankful to Dr. Kotoyan for giving me a new lease on my heart, and I would highly recommend him to anyone in need of cardiovascular care. Dr. Kotoyan gifted us with joy of having my father around for more years. My dad had a complete blockage of one of the heart arteries. Dr. Kotoyan performed a bypass surgery on him. My father is fully recovered and can fully enjoy his life. Dr. Kotoyan has an excellent training and is a brilliant surgeon. He was very attentive to my father. view for a great heart surgeon , about a month and a half ago my Uncle suffered a ruptured aneurism on the Aorta main artery and he was bleeding heavily internally, was rush to the ER and was put on hold waiting for an available surgeon down in the valley as there was no available surgeons locally at that point , it was a very stormy day in Southern California so no helicopters where able to fly to the nearest available hospital with corresponding surgeon, the only option was to wait and that was a matter of life and death as time was ticking we found out they we did had a surgeon at our hospital but was doing a six hour surgery at the moment , so are option where very limited, we where just trusting in the lord that he would do a miracle, and that's exactly what he did, Doctor Kotoyan right after practicing a six hour surgery walk in the room and with a humble but knowledgeable way explained what was about to transpire , and got him in right away even after a previous 6 hour surgery , and saved my uncles life thanks the Lord as he was a God sent, Great Humble and knowledgeable surgeon and person, I will recommended for ever, Praised the Lord!!
