Great place to be treated for any physical needs and ailments. Staff are highly professional from the medical staff to environmental service. They really care about their patient's health outcome and mental peace. There's always someone checking and making sure that you're getting the proper care that you need. The overall environment was very friendly and really gave you a genuine feeling that the staff really cared for you. Even at the time I was discharged I had to sit in front of a monitor and the person behind the screen went over some of the details I needed to follow through once I got home. Very satisfied with my experience at Northridge Hospital Medical Center and would highly recommend this place to anybody looking for hospital recommendation.

Just had hip surgery on 12/17 and was fortunate enough to get on the 4th floor for my overnight stay. I had some of the most amazing staff / nurses ever. I only remember the name of one nurse, "Chai" . She was beyond fantastic and should I ever go to N/ridge hospital again I will make sure she is one of my nurses. I'm sorry I didn't get her the names of the other staff, but the were all the best. Just my humble opinion. Herb

The wait was quite long. I didn't like that I was made to go from station to station in one big room instead of resting in a bed and getting tested from there. It felt like I was going through a buffet line or attending an event with street vendors, going from stand to stand, I didn't feel like I was really getting much help or they were making much effort to make me feel more comfortable. That went on for many hours. I'm not saying that I was the only one who went through that. I also didn't like the doctor's approach. He didn't really answer my questions or explain thoroughly what was wrong with me. It was a frustrating experience, especially when I was asking for muscle relaxants for home use. He only gave me one pill in the hospital. Because of his refusal to do so, I suffered so much for almost a week afterwards. I had just been in an accident and was in excruciating pain for several days following the accident. I had to beg a friend to give me some of hers, which doctors don't like. But, it helped me at least get some sleep at night at least for a few hours. Those pills were a life saver for me. The doctor could have given me a prescription for at least 4 days or until I could get further help. There's no reason why he couldn't do so. First, I had asked the pharmacist if they interfered with any of the medicines I'm taking now. The answer was, of course, no. Second, I've taken muscle relaxants before, which were given to me when I went to Urgent Care once a year ago for the same problem. And, third, there are muscle relaxants which are not controlled substances. I've never taken any that have been controlled substances. The doctor never came back even though I had a question nor did he ever explain why he didn't send me home with anything for pain or at the very least any muscle relaxants, which were really the ones I was asking for. He seemed like he didn't care. They were saying that they didn't find anything wrong with me (with all the testing). They just reiterated and put as a diagnosis that I was involved in a car accident. They didn't really explain why I felt so sick and dizzy. They didn't even tell me to come back if I felt worse, though I know that's a given. I just felt they were dismissive of my symptoms. The doctor seemed so nonchalant, almost robotic. The only reason I put two stars is because I do acknowledge that a lot of the staff, especially at triage were especially kind, though I felt it was something they were trained to be with everyone who comes in, but still, better kind than unkind.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. I was only there for a night but I was well taken care of: the food at night and some of the lunches were really good! Breakfast, not so much. I also had a triple bypass a while back. Everybody in the coronary cardiac ward was superb. Very clean ward! I was there for a little under a week.

Marian Bautista is truly one of the most exceptional nurses I have ever come across. Her critical thinking is unmatched, and the way she combines clinical skill with genuine kindness, compassion, and attentive care is nothing short of extraordinary. Marian doesn't just treat patients, she uplifts them. She creates an atmosphere of safety, comfort, and trust that only the most gifted nurses can provide. She is the true definition of a nurse! Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of being assisted by her, or simply knows her, understands exactly what I mean. Marian is the kind of nurse who leaves a lasting impact on every patient and family she touches. She is a rare treasure in healthcare, and her dedication deserves every bit of recognition and appreciation. I hope her higher ups see this and give her the recognition she deserves. Even if they do not God has her kindness recorded and she will be rewarded for it! I am beyond grateful for her care for my mother, Marian is A+ in every way. I am currently in nursing school and I wish to be just like her! Thank you Marian!!!!!
