Arthritis Medical Center

I was just diagnosed with Lupus and have tried to get in with a rheumatologist for weeks. Dr. Scott's office scheduled me for Dec 22nd and the appointment has been set for over a month. Today they nonchalantly left me a message that the appointment has to be rescheduled because the doc will be gone (then why would they schedule me for that day in the first place???) I have turned down MULTIPLE appointments because I had this one. I have attempted to call them to reschedule multiple times and they will not pick up the phone or return my calls. Nice to know that there are so many doctors out there with integrity. I am diagnosed with a life changing illness and looking for answers because I am in pain and sick on a daily basis and am brushed aside as an after thought. Enjoy your Christmas Break Dr. Scott. The soonest I am able to get in to see anyone is March.

Fantastic doctor. After months of going down hill, lost 44 lbs. In less than 6 months, getting weaker and weaker until I was in using a wheelchair. All doctors knew I had inflammation in my body, but didn't know where!!! Took all the tests that been done at Marion Hospital , and after looking at the results, he was suspicious of Inflamitory Vasculitus. One more blood tests, and he narrowed it down. I start infusions soon. He is only in the Arroyo Grande office on Monday afternoon, all day Tuesday, Wednesday mornings. I don't believe the receptionist is there at other times, but am not sure about that. Office is always busy, but he took his time with.me. Not sure what happened with the two who gave hiim low marks , but he is from Stanford and seems to know what he is doing. Hopes this helps someone.

Dr Scott is one of the best doctors I have ever encountered in my life. I've spent a lifetime hearing things like you're too young for that or that's not possible for one reason or another. Therefore I went many yrs undiagnosed until I was lucky enough to find Dr Scott. He pegged the fibromyalgia but also found an underlying condition which explained why I didnt fit just neatly into the fibro circle only. He zeroed in on something that normally only mexican males get and never white females. However thanks to hisability to think outside the box he diagnosed me properly and has given me back a large portion of my life with his wonderful caring treatment. I cant thank him enough. I highly recommend him to anyone who believes they may have an underlying condition. Or even if you dont think so but the pain just wont go away. Or like me when you wake up every morning and it takes you atleast 30 to 60 minutes to be able to start moving. There are reasons for your pain. Hes a wonderful health detective. God bless you all.
