Simply the best cardiologist in Orange County ..Past President of National Cardiology Association Don't look for sympathy look for results. She has heard every excuse

I have been a patient of Dr. Itchhaporia for years. She is an amazing physician as well as fascinating individual. The office staff is always professional and helpful. My wait times have been minimal if at all.... I highly recommend her.

Dr. Itchipora is very fortunate that the statute of Limitations has passed for my family to file a malpractice lawsuit. My parents have been a patient of hers since 2016. My dad has long known that he has atrial fibrillation and Dr. Itchipora was treating him for this condition. My father had inquired about an ablation on his heart to treat the atrial fibrillation, and the doctor told him it was not needed. In 2021 my father suffered a stroke from going into atrial fibrillation And when we saw the doctor for the first time after his stroke, she gaslit my father into believing that the stroke was his fault because he was not taking his medication's (which he was). I recognized immediately what she was doing, but I chose not to say anything for fear of upsetting my elderly father. During this meeting, she agreed that he should have the ablation done on his heart to treat the atrial fibrillation which he did in 2022. In 2023 My father was in and out of the hospital with atrial fibrillation, in addition to other heart issues. At my persistence, he finally agreed to see a cardiologist at Cedars Sinai. Without lifting a stethoscope, the doctor performed an echocardiogram, an EKG, and had my father wear a heart monitor for three weeks. We have since discovered that my father is in heart failure, and has an ejection fraction of 33. Dr Itchipora should have performed these tests but never did and now my dad is going in for surgery next month in the hopes of restoring some heart function. Dr Itchipora rushes through her patients and clearly has no time to listen to their concerns. She is dismissive and gaslights patients into believing she's more competent than she is. It is also worth noting that when my parents requested their medical notes from her, The office only submitted seven pages of notes. The notes were clearly scrubbed prior to forwarding to their current cardiologist. If you care about your elderly parent, please look into another Cardiologist that invests time into their patients health.

Dr. Itchhaporia is one of the best I have been to. She took time with me and listened to every one of my concerns and didn't rush through talking to me. She is very helpful with all her knowledge and extremely friendly even though I know there were others waiting to see her. I am unable to take all the tests that she would like me to at this time because my insurance will not pay for it, however, I will in the near future. If you are looking for a female Cardiologist, I highly recommend her. You will like her too.

Dr. Itchhaporia is a great physician. Her office staff is horrible. They lie about doing things they haven't done. For me to have any effective response I have to drive to the office and show up. I had a surgery clearance appointment Dec 30, 2022. As of today at 12 Noon, the clearance was not signed and faxed to my surgery team despite multiple calls from my surgery schedule and despite a phone call from myself last week asking for it to be done that very day which I was assured would happen. Today when I showed up, they told me the person who could finalize the paperwork was on lunch. It is 2PM. They would not interrupt that person's lunch and that person would return in about 1 hour. After a brief time, I went back up to the office to sit there and wait for this supposed person. At 2:15PM they handed me the paperwork. Miraculously, the person came back from their hour lunch. I will be looking for a new cardiologist, not because of the doctor but because of the ineffective office staff who are not truthful. Shame on them!!
