Dr. Blankenbaker has taken care of my parents for so many years. He's everything you want in a cardiologist - so knowledgeable, incredibly caring, and works closely with both my mom and dad to help keep them healthy. So thankful for all that he does.
Dr Blankenbaker is the "Gold Standard " of cardiac care ....I'm living proof! 3 months ago I was living my best life , on vacation in Hawaii, meeting my first granddaughter Ryan & swimming 4 miles in the Ocean . Within weeks it was determined that I had a Heart attack & major coronary artery disease, with a twist. I had a congenital defect in my RCA , making things much worse. My was life was in peril and my wife of 35 years Beth and our 4 children's world was instantly turned upside down. I consulted with Dr Blankenbaker , OC's top Cardiologist, he teamed up with Dr Caffarelli the #1 Cardio thoracic Surgeon and forged a game plan for my repair . My wife and I met with both Dr Blankenbaker & Dr Caffarelli, separately for over an hour , they detailed everything that was wrong and how they would make it right . We left those meetings with hope , knowledge and the confidence that we had found our team. The entire team assisted us (held our hands) thru all the pre op procedures, they all cared for us . The surgery went exactly as described , I followed the instruction to the tee . I was out of the hospital in 4 days and back at work in 4 weeks . I'm so grateful for the care and compassion that Dr Blankenbaker and his team bestowed on me .....I getting stronger every day and guarantee I will make the most out of my second chance to live my best life . I would Highly Recommend Dr Blankenbaker. I was just there again on May 15 2020. He is very thorough and explains everything to you. I ask questions and he answers with detail. I could not ask for a better heart Dr. I have many medical issues and he reviews my chart so that he is knowledgeable of all my issues and what the next step is. I'm very grateful that I found him!
