I should have read reviews before I visited him. And I agree completely on both things he's been reviewed negatively for--predatory behavior and finding ways to bill without reason. I saw him for a 1st visit/annual physical in October 2024 after my husband found him. I blindly just followed advise till I came out of his exam room feeling uncomfortable and disgusted. He had molested me and I couldn't get myself to believe it had happened--I had this urge to walk to his reception after and ask one of the girls why a female PA or nurse is not there when he's examining women, but I just walked out waiting for the whole feeling to end. The 1st thing I did when I sat in the car feeling violated was to look at any reviews online to see if other people had had similar experience, and lo and behold there it was. He's asian and one of our family friends has the same origin as him. I was so busy indulging in small talk asking him whether he knew the family and other things, that I didn't pay attention when he asked me to lift my blouse so he could listen to my heartbeat and lungs with his stethoscope. Then I felt him push my bra down with the stethoscope and take a peek and thot I must have imagined it. I was so busy conversing that it only hit me once the exam ended. I walked out asking myself whether I ever had to remove my shirt to be examined for a heartbeat and lungs... no... no doctor has ever had me remove my shirt or pull up my blouse. every male doctor has had a female nurse accompany them when they attend to a women patient. I was in rage but just didn't know who to address it with or I wanted to put this online. In April, my husband asked him to send a prescription for a Scopolomine patch for travel based on other doctors across several states who've prescribed it and he had records for. He insisted on getting on the phone with me for a 20 minute conversation about why I needed it, offering me options and continuously repeated he same thing over and over, which we'd already done during my annual exam/1st visit just so he could bill me $250. We were travelling a next day and I was packing thinking he was going to find a way to not issue me the patches and I would not be able to take the flight. I stopped visiting him after and now that I've found another doctor, I'm so ready to report him to the medical board. I'm not sure anyone will listen or do anything about this, but at least to the women looking for a doctor--this guy is the creepiest, and to the men--if you care enough for the person he is, please boycott him.

I have been seeing Dr Javed for over a decade but since the last year, things have been terrible, particularly since they changed to El Camino. Getting an appointment is a mess. Staff us clueless and occasionally hangs up. They made me do an extra visit just because their network had changed. They sent me the bill which would only pay via app and app would keep on failing. After several tries when it went through, they still sent it to collections.

Dr. Munir Javid is a great Doctor. Thanks to SARA HERNANDEZ-she was super helpful when getting things re-coded for me. She always kept a confirmation number, was quick to respond, and knowledgeable. Thank you so much !

I couldn't imagine I would have encountered so many issues with my visit to Dr. Javed for a regular annual physical. My first visit with Dr Javed is an annual exam, he spent 10 min with me and rushed to other things. Then I went to a lab (regular preventative care lab) and then scheduled a video follow-up to discuss the annual exam lab results. The medical team told me it is going to be a follow up of a preventative annual check so it's going to be preventative care as well that insurance should cover it. Sounds good so far. Then it became a headache, The billing code he sent for my follow-up visit is a non-preventative and even after I contacted him multiple times, he refused to change the code to the correct preventative care code. It ended up hundreds of dollar charge to me instead of my insurance. Throughout the years, this is my first time seeing such situation with my annual exams, usually the doctor won't charge me for a follow up lab discussion. I think Dr. Javed doesn't really care about patient enough to even put the correct billing code for his patient. How could I trust him doing anything else.
