Patient
I wish I could give negative rating to this hospital. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hospital's Emergency Department, not because of the medical care itself, but due to the unjustified, excessive, and predatory billing practices that followed. I visited the ER for a moderate issue, which was resolved in less than 10 minutes. I was not assigned a room, no medications were administered, no imaging or tests were performed, and the just a minor manual adjustment was required. The issue was resolved immediately, and I was discharged right away. Despite this extremely brief and simple encounter, the hospital billed more than $6000. Charging over $6,000 for a 10-minute visit with no room, no medication, no imaging, and no complications is completely unreasonable and feels exploitative. When I contacted the hospital billing department to request a review or correction, they flatly refused to revise the charges, offering no meaningful justification. This lack of transparency and unwillingness to engage constructively is deeply concerning. What is even more alarming is that many other Google reviews describe the exact same pattern -- short ER visits followed by shockingly high bills, aggressive facility fees, and refusal to reconsider inflated charges. This suggests a systemic issue, not an isolated incident. Patients come to emergency rooms in pain or distress and should not be subjected to financial shock afterward for minimal care. This hospital appears to rely on opaque billing practices and inflated ER facility fees rather than fair and patient-centered pricing. I strongly recommend that patients avoid this hospital if at all possible. Consider other hospitals with more transparent and ethical billing practices. Until this hospital addresses its billing practices and treats patients with honesty and fairness, I cannot recommend it to anyone.
