Anh-Quan Nguyen, M.D.

My primary care physician order 24 hours blood pressure monitoring testing. I took the device on 10/23 and returned it back on 10/24 as it was instructed. It has been one month since the testing was completed and yet I have not gotten my results yet. I called the office every days for 7 days and they told me the physician still working on my case but no timeline was given. Yesterday I called again (11/24/2025) and they said the results will be ready to my PCP on the 25th. But of course it did not happen. I had to go to the office again to ask my results in person. It is complete unpleasant experience with the this clinic and the physician (Anh-Quan Nguyen, M.D.). If I were you I would be choosing another physician that you do not have to go through what I have been going through. I have been really great experience with Sutter health but this one was not acceptable.

Dr. Nguyen has been my primary cardiac physician since February 2020. He has been monitoring my heart health through regularly scheduled tests and exams, and recommended treatments to address issues that required correction. I found his analysis to be thorough and complete. He always took time to explain in detail the test events that occurred and what he felt needed to be done to mitigate or solve any abnormalities. His findings were always right on the mark and I appreciate the interest he has in me as his patient.

Dr Nguyen is a straight-to-the-point, no-fuss, doctor. Some not used to him might be surprised that within 30 seconds of entering the room, he is listening to your heart (no smalltalk). But that belies the fact the he has done his homework before coming in and is fully up to speed with what has happened to you before the visit. He is very caring and listens carefully. He is backed up by an excellent team. We have every confidence in him and thoroughly recommend him.

I highly recommend working with Dr. Anh-Quan Nguyen. He provided excellent advice on how to get to the bottom of a very tough situation. I really appreciated insight and experience like this!

Dr. Anh-Quan Nguyen has been my cardiologist for about 10 years. He is thorough, listens and answers questions. He has referred me to fabulous surgeons. One replaced my aortic valve (it had been replaced two times before) and removed the scar tissue that had narrowed the opening for the prior valve. By doing this he was able to enlarge the aorta and at the same time allowed for a valve the size of my original valve. I would probably not be alive without this being done. Dr. Nguyen is a special person and really cares about his patients. We are lucky to have him.
