Patient
Dr. Oommen saw me through two pacemaker operations and a tricuspid heart valve replacement. When I was hospitalized with extremely disturbing tachycardia before my first pacemaker implant, he visited me in the ICU very early every morning. He was always thoughtful and encouraging and truly one of the nicest doctors I have ever encountered. He also stood up to the Stanford Cardiologist who wanted to put in a heart valve without changing a pacemaker that might interfere with its work and persuaded them to his point of view in the end. He is not only an extremely impressive cardiologist, but a very fine human being.
