i've been seeing Dr. Berte for over a decade. He one of the finest doctors I've known. People giving negative reviews because of wait times is annoying. That has nothing to do with the doctor. It has to do with the office and the amount of people needing the test that they want right away.

I'm not understanding why all the negative ratings. I've had Larry Dr Berte for over four years now, and he treats me better than my primary or any physician for that matter. I can understand the negativity on front desk. Not the best personalities. I've had my moments going round and round. So I give Dr Berte huge thumbs up and hope he hires better front end staff a.s.a.p

I was COMPLETELY appalled by the unprofessionalism of this Doctors office. I had an appointment today at 4:00pm. I got there early because I was a new patient and knew there was going to be paperwork to fill out. The person at the front desk looked very unprofessional, dirty and was not dressed appropriately. Her fingernails were dirty and she had NO clue what she was doing. I was finally called up to the front desk to fill out paperwork (after 30 minutes of waiting). I asked the person at the front desk how much longer I would have to wait and her response was "just sit down and wait your turn." I was shocked at her response. I asked to speak to the office manager. I was told that they don't have an office manager. A woman named Jamie came out and claimed to be the office manager. I started to tell her what had happened, but she did not want to hear what I had to say. She was rude, mean and unprofessional. She had told me that the person at the front desk was her FOURTEEN YEAR OLD daughter. I was appalled by the information that I just learned. I informed her that a fourteen year old should not be working at the front desk at a Doctor's office. I told Jamie that I wanted to speak to someone above her. She brought out Dr. Berte. I told him what had happened and he did not care. He said that the fourteen year old "didn't have a babysitter." I was shocked. He was rude, unprofessional and unconcerned about what happened. Another employee named Vicky came into the waiting room, YELLED at me in front of other patients and then slammed the door in my face. At this point I was upset, concerned and mad. There was another patient in the waiting room. She saw the whole thing and could not believe what she saw. She apologized to me for what had happened. She was in complete shock and was concerned. I was called back by another employee named Michelle. She was very professional, apologetic and felt bad about what happened. She took me in a room and told me that she would be back in a minute. While I was in the room, I thought about everything that happened. I decided that I did not feel comfortable there and needed to leave. I felt that the way everything was handled was completely unprofessional, unacceptable and uncalled for. As I left, Dr. Berte stopped me. I told him that I would not be coming back and that the way he runs his business is ridiculously unprofessional. He did not care what I had to say. He was SO rude. I will NEVER step foot in that office again. The unprofessionalism, the rudeness and the absurdity that occurred when I was there was ridiculous. STAY AWAY FROM DR. LARRY BERTE IN AUBURN, CALIFORNIA!

Not sure if he's a good doctor or not. We never got a call back from his office. My child was referred there and after waiting two weeks for his office to make contact, we called. His office doesn't have an EKG machine or echo-cardiogram machine so my daughter had to go to the hospital for preliminary work. She's had two heart surgeries and is currently being treated for congestive hearty failure. So, I would consider her case fairly serious. We waited two weeks to be seen for tests. A week after tests, still no call from his office. We call. He hadn't read her reports yet. Another week goes by. Same thing. Third week goes by and we can't even get a person to answer the phone. Over two months and nothing. A cardiologist? These are sick people who need medical treatment. What a joke.

Dr.Berte is the WORST DOCTOR I ever came across Please do yourself a favor look for another dr. He do not care for his patient. When you really need a doctor he will deny to see you. For your own safety stay away from choosing a doctor like mr. worste or Berte.
