My father is Dr Young's patient. We are very pleased to say the least. She is an approachable person, takes her time with the patient, is easy to talk to and is just great at what she does. She and her nurse were quick to act when they saw that my father's condition requires immediate attention. The procedure went smoothly, with a minimum wait time. Thank you Dr Young!!
Dr Young is the most caring doctor!! The pcp missed pneumonia on my mom, and Dr. Young noticed and gave her the correct treatment and finally her 3wk cough is gone. Her staff are all so kind as well, we got there early for an appointment and they kindly let us in early while they were eating lunch. And i left a voicemail for clearance and they always get back to me. Its busy these days so don't expect a call right away, a specialist's office is always busy but they will get back to you in timely manner. Lastly when my mom was a new patient and her appointment was 5 months out and i was urging for an earlier appointment, staff did call me back to let me know there was an earlier spot due to cancellation. While other clinics like dermatologist would say "we don't call, you can call everyday to see if there is a cancellation. Thank you everyone at Dr. young's office!!!
I had the pleasure of being Dr. Amelia Young's patient October 2024. She was very thorough, caring and listened to my concerns. She is an excellent doctor and would definitely recommend.
I really like Dr.Young so far. But the office staff seriously needs some work. Not only did the echo tech treat me as if young people can't be sick, but the office staff have been so unorganized every single time I've been there- that it has caused me to cry. It's to the point where I have to perform extra labor to make sure that all my appointments are approved by insurance & the office is aware of that. The office staff should be the one making sure authorizations are through and my appointment is approved. Otherwise this would be an exceptional office.
Dr Young is an excellent cardiologist and comes highly recommended by hospital staff as well as colleagues. She is very knowledgeable and compassionate when dealing with patients. I strongly recommend her!
