Lit K Fung, M.D.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt it was important to share my experience with Dr. Fung. Unfortunately, my one visit was extremely disappointing. The doctor was consistently dismissive of my concerns and rushed through my appointment without fully listening or answering my questions. I left feeling confused and unheard, which is the last thing you want when it comes to your health. I felt that my care was impersonal and lacking compassion. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone looking for thorough, respectful, and attentive medical care.

Dr. Fung truly saved my life. I was fortunate enough to have him recommended by a friend who is a retired cardiologist. I was diagnosed with a 90% closed carotid artery on Friday night and Dr. Fung operated Saturday afternoon. His precise surgery on my very tiny arteries was truly an incredible skill. I'll be grateful to him for the rest of my life!!!

On May 6, 2025, I had an appointment with Dr. Lit K. Fung which was one of the few positive experiences I have had with doctors at Sutter Gould. Dr. Fung greeted me when he came in and he initiated a conversation that made me feel relaxed and that I was in the hands of a doctor that really did care about his patients. I can only say that if you have the need to see a Cardiovascular Surgeon this is a doctor that I recommend for your care.

Dr. Fung is an outstanding doctor, and is literally a legend in his field.

Dr. Fung was very involved in my diagnosis and treatment of my condition. I saw him in the hospital and then his office for a follow up. I have no questions about the results of his thorough investigation of the problem. His knowledge and wonderful bedside manner are very appreciated by me.
