I felt like I was having heart palpitations. Dr Pawany assured me my sonogram showed my heart valve was ok. He appeared to be finished but I was concerned about my palpitations. He then asked the nurse to do an EKG. It did not show a problem. He said maybe I was having anxiety. He recommended a monitor investigate further. I was confused about how to get it done. Someone then told me to check out and she would handle everything.

My experience with Dr Pohwani started in August of 2009. I came in with a lot of trouble with Angina-with chest & chin pain. Mari Rossini examined me, called Dr Pohwani in, he examined me & next step was a large stent in the LAD. Big blockage. Still working well 16 years later. I just saw him this week, he gave me a check up & said you look good for your your ageSo glad we have him as our cardiologist.

Doctor was late half an hour. Examination room was quick. I was still asking him questions when he walked out very unhappy with this doctor. I know he's a specialist. He's a cardiologist. Maybe my case was not as important.

Dr Pohwani is the best! I had a heart attack 3 months ago. One artery was 100% blocked and another 90%. Dr Pohwani inserted two stents and saved my life. I saw him yesterday and he changed my medication. I am starting to feel better already. I referred my husband to him and would highly recommend him to others. Dr Pohwani knows his stuff!

Dr. Pohwani is extremely thorough and personable. Look forward to continuing under his care. Would definitely recommend.
