Dr. Hepner is conscientious, and up to date with treatments that my previous cardiologist of 22 years didn't recommend or maybe know about. Since my former cardiologist retired, I am very confident and happy with his knowledge and genuine concern for my health. He is very involved and knowledgeable about how to get treatments covered by Medicare that may otherwise be refused. I like him very much. On top of that, he's a nice man.
Dr. Hepner is a very qualified cardiologist and I feel 100% confident with him as my mother's doctor. He listens and really tries to hear what you need and communicate clearly what he is thinking. His bedside manner isn't over the top, but I don't need that. I need a Dr. that listens, is an absolute expert and takes the time for follow-up. I truly appreciate him.
Very poor bed side manners. Here is his indignant response to one of my questions: Asked if calssifications in Carotid artery can be reversed: "No, we are not going to live to a hundred. We will all die sooner or later."
