Dr. Kenneth K. Tam, MD

I brought my 95 y.o. mother-in-law (MIL) in as a new patient. Dr. Tam exceeded my expectations. He is everything you want in a cardiologist for yourself or family member. Dr Tam reviewed her current medical regime, asked her how it is working for her. By modifying the prescriptions he made the medical regime much easier to follow. He answered all our questions, and I felt both my MIL and I understood recommendations and next steps. I would highly recommend Dr. Tam. In addition Dr. Tam's Mission Hills medical staff were able to secure an appointment in a timely fashion. They made us feel welcome and cared for! Great team work. Thank you!

26 years ago I was admitted to Providence Holy Cross Hospital for pulmonary distress. My condition was dire. Dr. Tam along with my Pulmonologist began aggressive care to save my life. My condition kept me hospitalized for about a month. Had it not been for these doctors I would definitely have succumbed to my illnesses. They worked diligently to save me. They worked tirelessly through testing, medications, etc. They are outstanding in their respective fields. I had the absolute BEST fighting for me. Dr. Tam is the best. Had I not had him I most likely would not be here today. He constantly works watching my medications and test results to ensure my health. My drive to see him is 2-1/2 hours but I refuse to change because my case is complex and when I made just a minor change a new medication I ended up in ER. He is kind, he is informative, he is knowledgeable and most of all he is MY DOCTOR.

Dr. Kenneth Tam was very nice and respectful on this my first encounter with him. He was very patient in answering all my questions and explaining the process behind the symptoms I had. He also was very positive and compassionate that when I left his office I felt really good. To myself, these qualities are very important. I wish they would teach these qualities as part of med school because there are still physicians running their practice as if they were "gods," who thinks they know everything.

I have seen Dr. Tam for over 15 years and he has always treated me as if I am one of his family members. He has provided me excellent cardiac and general medical care every time I have been seen by him and his staff

Just had our 6 month check up and glad to say we are doing fine. His office staff is great. Dr. Tam is wonderful and very thorough - he asks questions and listens.
