As someone living with MS in a health care desert, I've had some very tough experiences--especially with neurology care (Providence's problem, not yours--ha!). But Kendra stepped up in a big way. She not only helped me manage my symptoms, but also connected me with a therapist who diagnosed me with PTSD. Thanks to her support, I feel like a whole person again, working to do the best my body allows--and it feels incredible to have that kind of partnership through Open Door. I especially want to recognize the McKinleyville office team. Every single employee there is friendly, supportive, and genuinely helpful. With MS, I can only work when I'm feeling good--and they make me feel good every time I walk in the door. Thank you again for having such an exceptional team.

Open Door McK is not the horrible place so many of these reviews seem to describe. I've been going there for over 20yrs and am very well satisfied with both the front desk interactions and the medical care I've experienced there over the years for multiple maladies. I've never had any trouble with their referrals dept., their lab, or anything else to do with the clinic. I've had four different doctors there (three retired on me---the nerve! ;-) ), and they've all been great. Dr. Bloch is my current GP and he's been terrific. He listens, he's patient, he's knowledgeable, he's responsive, and he cares. I can't believe I've simply been lucky every single time I've visited. So, please, if you're considering Open Door McK, give minimal attention to these negative reviews. They certainly don't correspond with my experiences there.

I have been receiving excellent care from Opendoor Community Health Center in McKinleyville. All staff members are friendly, kind, and professional. My nurse practitioner Katy Kellogg is excellent at what she does. She is attentive, kind, and compassionate.

I have always received the best of care here, no matter who I worked with. Please appreciate these folks & what they do right now - Mr. Trump can take it away from us at any time.

I have been going to Mckinleyville Community Health Center/Open Door Clinic for over ten years. I have been given nothing but the best of care. Not only do I receive messages via MyChart but they always call me with test results.
