Dr. Rhonda Lappen

Dr. Lappen is a dream doctor! She's an amazing, wonderful doctor and person. My sister has been going to her since she was a baby and she is now almost 23, so we've followed her from office to office! She's always so welcoming and enthusiastic, and even when my sister was younger, she would speak to my sister directly and ask her questions and listened and validated her feelings. Generally, people tend to overlook her and direct their questions/comments to me because I'm older but Dr. Lappen has always included her, and while that may seem like a trivial thing, it speaks volume on her character. It shows how deeply she cares about her patients and wants to know how and what THEY feel, no matter how young they are and regardless if it's something they think is small or unimportant. She takes into consideration everything my sister tells her and never brushes anything off. She is truly one of the best, most kind doctors I've ever encountered and the world needs more people like her. I'll be extremely sad when the time comes where my sister has to see a new cardiologist because I don't think anyone can even compare.

Dr. Lappen has been seeing my 2 children for almost 17 years for cardiology. She really cares about her patients, and never hesitates to see them in a emergency situation, when unavailable, she will respond quickly, in a timely manner, Even if she has a full schedule load, she will take your children in, No questions asked. Dr lappen has up to date equipment, She has a EKG machine. Ultrasound, treadmill testing and much more for propper diagnoses at her office, which makes it better for the patient, no need to go out to do these test, and wait for results, she will give you diagnosis same day. DR. Lappen and staff are verry sweet and down to earth, they really care about patients. Dr. Lappen makes you feel more like one of her guest, than her patient. Almost to a point she makes you forget she is the doctor :). Dr. Lappen also explaines all procedures clearly, for parents and for all ages to understand, making the process much easier. I have known her since I was born and she fixed the hole in my heart and even though we live 2 hours away my mom still has me go see her cause I don't want to change and she is ok with the length of the drive. I hope she can stay my heart doctor forever She has encouraged me to become a heart doctor and she has taught me a lot about what was going on with my heart and how it is healing and looking good. If it weren't for her the hole in my heart could have grown and it would have been bad but she saved me and everyone in my family including me loves having her as my heart doctor
