29 years ago Dr. Bailey performed open heart surgery on me. I have no one else to thank except this man right here. I know he wouldn't ever remember but I can never forget. I was only 6 months old at the time but I will always remember this man. He is a blessing to so many families and I would love to personally thank him but I'm sure he's too busy. Thank you for giving me a normal and healthy life, a gift no one can ever trump. For that, I will always hold a spot in my heart, right in the spot you fixed.

Dr Bailey has always been on my son Gabriel Parra & my mind for the past 29 1/2 years.

My son was born August 1988.
Dr Bailey performed a Transversal of zither Greater Arteries (aka Mustard Procedure) on my son Gabriel when he was only 2 weeks old).
I was scared but Dr Bailey explained every step with calmness. I did not leave my son's side the whole time he was at Loma Linda (except for showering).
The nurses caring for my 2week old son were great.
