Dr. Anees J. Razzouk, MD

I am one week post surgery today. I'm home resting comfortably in my own bed for what will be the fourth night now. Dr.Razzouk came highly recommended by the surgeon wh six months ago did my torn meniscus surgery. He too was amazing. The first time I met Dr Razzouk, he answered all my questions and then prayed with me. I am a man of faith, but very seldom have attended church. (Something that may change now) During that prayer I felt peace and a strong feeling I needed to choose this man over the other recommendations I'd gotten. So we scheduled what should have been a fairly simple repair to my aortic aneurism. I'd had 2 other appointments with Dr.Razzouk by then and my feeling of peace at literally having my heart in this man's hands never changed. For background I'm 57 years old and in pretty good shape. I had ZERO symptoms. That 1st surgeon is mentioned made me go see a cardiologist after and abnormal EKG. Between them, they saved my life. So day of surgery comes and I see Dr.Razzouk for a talk and another prayer before going under. That's the last I know before waking up in the cardiac ICU. My wife and later Dr.Razzouk and nurse filled me in. My aneurism was much larger than the scans had revealed. They had to replace the whole length from heart to brain. We had wanted to save my valve, but as damaged as the aorta was, that was impossible. Something I'd known might happen going in. They also discovered an almost dime sized hole in my heart. Dr.Razzouk fixed everything. Did I mention this is my fourth night at home? The night of surgery plus two more was all I needed in the hospital. They were AMAZING too. While I'm not taking my wife out dancing yet, I'll be able too in no time. You bet I'm sore and weak, but I could just as easily be dead, my condition was that critical. If you need heart surgery then a doctor who's compassion and understanding are only surpassed by his faith and his skill, is the way to go. That man, is Dr. Anees Razzouk.

He saved my sons life. My son was born with TAPVR a rare congenital heart defect and was transferred to loma linda and Dr. Razzouk performed his open heart surgery. He was very upfront and honest about the risks and he explained everything in full detail and prayed with me for my son and successful surgery. He made me feel like my sons life was in great hands and it was my son is 3 months old now his heart is repaired and I'm so thankful for Dr.Razzouk God works thru his hands and heart. I will never forget him he is honest, kind, caring, informative, and I thank God everyday my son was sent to him.

In December of 2022, Dr Razzouk performed open heart surgery on me due to a tumor in the heart. I cannot give this man enough praise to do him justice. From the first time I met with him until he discharged me from his care he showed genuine compassion and concern and took an interest in my family as well. While I was in his care he was always open to my questions and conerns. His hospital visits were very uplifting, especially when he sang. I feel there is no one who can surpass this great surgeon.

I am truly Blessed to have had Dr Razzouk as my heart surgeon. He performed my pulmonary valve replacement surgery 2 weeks ago and I'm already feeling as good as I've ever felt. He is also one of the most kind hearted persons I've ever met.
