Dr. Nguyen is always upbeat, encouraging, and genuinely supportive every time we have an appointment. He asks about my life, really listens to my responses, and respects my opinion and decisions regarding life style and medications, agreeing that if a med isn't working then I should not continue taking it. Highly recommend Dr. Nguyen as one of the best cardiologists, especially in my area (California). I'm so fortunate to have him as my heart doctor.
The experience with Dr. Nguyen was superb. He is extremely knowledgeable but also very kind and down to earth. It is obvious that he takes a personal interest in his patients and really cares about them. He is also very patient and spend time explaining everything and you never get the impression that he is in a hurry and off to see the next patient. Also, the entire staff at Coastal Cardiology are extremely kind and professional. All around I can't say enough good things about my entire experience.
Dr. Nguyen is one of the most personal physicians I have ever met. He explains things clearly. He takes a genuine interest. He makes you feel as though you are his most important appointment of his day. He also knows his profession. I have the ultimate confidence in him. I highly recommend him.
Update:: Although I initially gave Dr. Nguyen a great review, his receptionist was supposed to call me back to schedule an appointment and put me on the waitlist...over a year later and I'm STILL WAITING (she NEVER called me back)! However, my thoughts on Dr. Nguyen as a doctor still stands, but I question his decision making as far as the staff he employs, as she (the receptionist) sucks! ********************************************************************* I am SO thankful to have Dr. Nguyen as my cardiologist! He's VERY THOROUGH, extremely SHARP, and sincerely cares about you as not only his patient, but also as a person!! I couldn't ask for a better physician!!
My first visit was so comforting. The staff was courteous and professional. Dr. Nyugen was thorough and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. They were extremely accommodating to my busy schedule for future tests and appointments. Great experience. I highly recommend.
