Dr Azimi and staff were very professional and kind-very important to me since my dad needed heart surgery urgently. From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly...Sara was welcoming and answered my questions. Tina, the nurse was thorough and diligent. Dr Azimi went into detail of what he was going to do and gave us options. He also answered many questions patiently. I am praying the surgery goes well, but I feel we have the best doctor to do the job.

Dr. Azimi is truly one of the best in the field. As a physician myself, I'm very particular about who I trust with my care, and Dr. Azimi exceeded all expectations. He's knowledgeable, thorough, and takes the time to really listen and explain things clearly. His office is well-run, the staff is kind and professional, and the whole experience was smooth from start to finish. Sorry ladies in the front desk for so many calls! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to my own patients or family. My wife and I wanted to thank you all!

I'm incredibly grateful for the outstanding care I received from Dr. Azimi and his team. From my very first visit, he took the time to listen carefully to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made me feel truly cared for. His expertise, professionalism, and compassionate approach gave me great confidence and peace of mind throughout my treatment. I highly recommend Dr. Azimi to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and caring cardiologist.

Our family's experience with Dr. Azimi and staff specifically Kayla has been extremely disappointing. After only two appointments, we noticed several issues that raise concerns about both professionalism and quality of care.
1. Repeated Administrative Errors
Despite providing the correct information, the office consistently misspelled my father's name on all prescriptions for over three months. This went uncorrected until I personally received a letter from Medi-Cal, which pointed out the mismatch between the prescription name and the Medi-Cal card. A simple verification could have prevented this. Purely ignorant!
2. Negligence in Medication Authorization
The staff handling prior approval, particularly an employee named Kayla, demonstrated alarming negligence. Twice--in July and August 2025--Medi-Cal denied coverage for my father's essential heart medication because the office failed to respond to Medicak follow-up questions (including basic details like dosage). After several follow ups everyweek (un-returned calls of course) on a visit, Kayla's told us that she realized that she had faxed the info to the wrong Medical fax number!!! But what about the second time? Failing a simple procedure twice is not error anymore. I only discovered this after calling Medi-Cal directly. This is not a minor oversight; it directly jeopardized my father's health. Now, Im at a point that I cant trust this office to make another error, cause denial a third time will be catastrophic for us.
3. Poor Bedside Manner
In addition, Dr. Azimi and his PA's communication with patients lacks sensitivity. Literally the first thing came out of bothe of their mouthes on the first visit was: "Oh sir! you have a very weak heart," is neither professional nor compassionate. You think a patient is stupid of his own predicament? You think after battling CHF for 20 years we dont know he has a week heart? If a cardiologist doesnt know understand that 40% of CHF patients deal with mild to severe depression then you fail in bedside manner. Families seek ongoing monitoring with medication period, no miracles and not discouraging remarks.

When you first meet someone, you want to make a Good First Impression.
When I first met Dr. Azimi, I had a faint heartbeat and a high level of heart failure (!) It wasn't my best foot Forward per a courteous meeting, let alone staying alive.
Dr. Azimi quickly and expertly saved me, arrested my conditions, and reversed my downward health loss, so that I am a laughing and smiling human being again, living for today (!)
I do owe Dr. Azimi my life and my infinite THANK YOU.
And YES, Dr. Azimi is extremely well educated and trained to address, tackle, and remedy matters and issues of the HEART . But, as a good healer, he also deals with the whole mind, body, and state of his patients. (At least, that's been my direct experience.)
He is always certainly 110% at the Heart of the matter in his efforts and energies. But also he has a high degree of humility, which is hard to find in any profession nowadays.
You won't find a better doctor, healer, listener, or health curator than Dr. Azimi. Per his tasks, efforts, and humanity he shines everyday, and I Am blessed to know him. - Thank You.
Per Me and the late jazz great - Louis Armstrong, Dr. Azimi is a Cool Cat .
-"Cat? Cat can be anybody. From the guy in the gutter to a lawyer, doctor, the biggest man to the lowest man. But IF he's in there with a good heart , and enjoys the same music together, he's A Cat."- Louis Armstrong
