Always in a hurry, very little eye contact. She will type during the appointment, sometimes not even performing an assessment on me other than listening to breath sounds. She will review my meds & vitals, which the MA did prior to putting me in room. All in all, she wouldn't write me a sick note for work or give me an RX for pain meds. She told me to come back in 2 weeks if pain/cold symptoms hadn't improved. Went back, same thing, no assessment just listened to breath sounds which she said were clear. I told her that I was in hot shower coughing out thick, discolored phlegm prior to appt. She finally gave me a month's supply of RX pain meds and told me loud & clear no refill. She didn't think chest xrays were needed. Went to pharmacy to pick up med. She ordered me a total of 12...to last a month. What a joke and a waste of my copay! I dropped her as my MD, and saw another the next day. I had double pneumonia. I started antibiotics and 2 inhalers plus I was out on state disability for 7 weeks total.
