Hey everyone. I just have to say that Dr. Kevin Rapeport is my savior. He saved my life and I am so thankful and my family is thankful. I was in the emergency room for 2 days. No one could find why I was having a heart attack, Dr. Kevin called me and said that there was something wrong and he was going to fix it. And he did. He's my hero and god bless him and his family. He's a great man

My husband, John, an 88-year-old male who had been having chest pain and weakness for a short while. From a recommendation, he had an examination and numerous tests with Dr. Kevin Rapeport, a cardiologist at Scripps Hospital in La Jolla. After the final test, he had an appointment to discuss the results, which showed a small anomaly in one area. The doctor suggested he have an angioplasty, and if that were to show any blockages, then he would immediately follow it with an angiogram with stents. The upshot was that he had 3 stents put in my main artery and one on a side artery. It's been several weeks since the event, and he's been up and active with little indication of any procedure. Both my husband and I highly recommend Dr. Rapeport for anyone with heart issues. He is incredibly thoughtful, thorough, knowledgeable, dedicated, and most importantly, successful. And we are both greatly indebted to him.

My Cardiac Electrophysiologists with both Scrips and UCSD both recommended Dr. Rapeport for advanced Heart Cardiac Care. He helped me with my weight loss (diet, exercise, medication), and was concerned with some symptoms I was having that my cancer team and myself were writing off to cancer treatment. He recommended an Angiogram with the possibility of a Angioplasty. I have had two many surgeries of late, and was resistant. He convinced my wife he was not satisfied with the standard tests and needed more data, and if he found issues while in there he would fix them. We decided to proceed, and it most likely saved my life. He found and corrected an 80% blockage, and I was feeling like a new man before the twilight sleep even wore off. I highly recommend Dr. Rapeport, he is an old school doc, that actually spends time with his patients, and knows your medical file like the back of his hand, unlike most Doc's that seem to just read it right before your visit. Success with weight loss was just icing on the cake.

Dr Rapeport is a very outstanding cardiologist. I trust him fully and I listen to his recommendation and appreciate his no nonsense approach. He listens attentively and you are able to voice your concerns. He has never steered me wrong. He has addressed every concern with respect. His staff is excellent and it's very easy to make an appointment without waiting months. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Kevin Rapeport was the right guy, right place, right time for me! He was easy to schedule an appointment, logical in his approach to my needs, factual in his opinions and supportive in his advice that helped me to change my lifestyle, revise my eating & exercise habits, reduce my weight from 235lbs to 175lbs and get off blood pressure medication and avoid cholesterol medication. Dr. Rapeport diagnostics included chemical and treadmill stress testing, echocardiograms, and regular follow-ups with EKG and laboratory work. Dr. Rapeport met me where I was at and helped motivate me to pursue a better direction for cardiovascular health and overall fitness based on what he had to work with and my desires. I appreciate his straight talk and honestly. I've tried to be a good patient and was met with a willing, capable doctor who gave me realistic answers about my health and solid advice to achieve the best version of myself.
