Has this happened to you? I have Apple Care Medical Group as a health care provider. They have a policy of requiring a 24 cancellation notice otherwise there is a no-show fee. Which is understandable. I called the day before my appointment and couldn't get a live person so I left a message. Last week i received a bill for $25 for not showing up. I went to the office to show them my call log. Showing that the day before my appointment I was on an outgoing call to their number for 2 minutes which demonstrates I obviously called the day before. I don't have access to their voicemail. But I believe that shows proof of my call. They put it through to their decision maker and I got a call saying the fee still stands. The person who called said this happens often. I'm currently unemployed so this is outrageous to me. I was charged fraudulently despite having complied with their policy. Due to their clerical error someone dropped the ball and my appointment was not cancelled. Has this happened to you? I'd like to file a law suit in small claims as a class action against their fraudulent practices and have this practice of charging fees to people who comply with their policy and are still charged. I'm using my phone bill to prove I called the day before.

As a new resident of the area looking for a primary care doctor, I chose Dr. Batin because she is not only listed as internal medicine, but also geriatric. She has been my primary care doctor for two years and I have been pleased with how thorough she is and that she goes over all test results with explanations. I would choose her again.

Love seeing Dr. Batin. My whole family is now seeing her. Compassionate care. Listens well. Great treatment.

Terrible experience with this office. When dr Donald Cassidy was here things were ran smoothly and you could actually get an appointment. I waited two months for an appointment and they ended up canceling my appointment. I showed up and they said "we didn't have you down" What a joke . I had an appointment card also! Francis Battin has ruined this office . I tried to get an appointment and they couldn't get me in for 3 months. I asked why and she responded that all of the PAs have left the office. I've heard nothing but bad things from other patients as well. Do urself a favor and don't go here.

I am switching doctors immediately! The nurse practitioner (I believe her name is Melissa) has been a Nightmare. I went in for minor back pain and she instructed me to go to the ER immediately! I felt ok just a little back pain. She made it seem like something was seriously wrong with me. Drove myself to the ER and she ordered them to do a BUNCH of tests and EVERYTHING came back normal. They sent me home with some ibuprofen. She then made me go to a cardiologist and when I got there the cardiologist ran a couple of test and was confused as to why they sent me there as everything came back fine. To make matters worse, that bill for the emergency room was $2600(After insurance!) I will not be returning to this doctor's office! Thank you NP! That is $2600 DOWN THE DRAIN!
