I am writing this review after a deeply upsetting and unprofessional experience during my recent follow-up appointment. I was called in to discuss blood test results, but the appointment quickly devolved into a confrontation because I had not yet completed two routine screening tests (Mammogram and Pap test), which I delayed due to a recent family emergency. Instead of courteously discussing my situation or checking on my well-being, the doctor accused me of being uncooperative. He was visibly upset and without any discussion he abruptly stormed out of the room, leaving the nurse to speak to me instead. The nurse's attitude was equally dismissive. She doubled down on the accusation of non-compliance, stating I should change doctors, and added that I hadn't taken a previously prescribed medication. When I stated I had no record or notification of that prescription, she simply declared it was "not their fault" and effectively ignored my attempt to clarify a misunderstanding. The lack of care and courtesy was shocking. Patients should expect compassion and an effort to understand their individual circumstances, not to be treated like a child being reprimanded by an old-fashioned school faculty for "bad behavior." I understand now why this office has received so many negative reviews. There are many excellent, compassionate family doctors accepting new patients. I strongly advise anyone seeking respectful care to avoid this practice.
