Great experience overall. Check in was seamless and smooth. Triage was friendly and attentive to my needs. I felt heard and respected. Staff did an excellent job diffusing 2 aggressive hospital visitors who were accompanying ill patients. The pharmacist made sure the medications I was buying were within budget (this wowed me). Overall I left happier and confident in the staffs abilities and diagnosis. Too bad I'm moving to Kaiser in January. This was honestly one of the best hospital visits I've ever experienced.

Every person I encountered in the ER department at Glendale Adventist displayed great respect and empathy during my visit, starting from the check-in process all the way through to discharge. I was particularly impressed with the onsite doctor, Dr. Anthony Cardillo, who took the time to listen to all of my concerns without rushing and treated me with the dignity and respect everyone deserves to have when they are feeling unwell. He took all measures to ensure I got the appropriate treatment for my symptoms and explained his reasoning for ordered tests/scans so that I understood what was going on with my care. The nurses were also wonderful and continued to check in on me periodically as I awaited results, always keeping me up to date on next steps, despite being in this very busy setting, in which I know they have large caseloads of patients. Thank you to everyone at this ER for helping me get well and ensuring I was safe to go home before discharge. You guys are medical rockstars!

Food not the best. Charge nurse told me that was a way to get you to go home. My surgeon never came to see me post op, I didn't make enough money I guess. Not many there who looked like me. Staff was nice especially a few, they know who they are...got me in rushed me out! Next person up. Way of the world. However they did honor my No Blood Request!

Probably the best hospital I've been to in California . After a bad experience my mom had at UCLA ER, I felt like I needed to praise Adventist health for their amazing experience I had all 3 times I was at Adventist Health ER. The ER at Adventist Staff is nice, the waiting area is big and spread out and its pretty good about getting you seen ASAP. If you need to go to the ER, go here. They listen to you and get you seen ASAP. I also love the nurses in the department I stayed in after having a fibroid and hysterectomy surgery here, they were too notch and the sweet lady Anna from the chapel visited me every time I was in the hospital and remembered everything we talked about. Thank You Adventist Health for actually treating patients with kindness and respect.

I had to get a work up at L&D after seeing my OBGYN. I was assigned to a great nurse, Susan. She was kind, patient, and a great communicator. She made my visit comfortable and it was a great experience overall.
