Wow.. I have never been forced to leave a hospital while still in pain from a back injury. I arrived in the ambulance since I could not get up off the floor in extreme pain. No pain med was admitted in ambulance due to my allergy. Once I arrived the ER doctor did not seemed interested in helping me (he did not even speak with me). I do understand that more emergency situations were possibly happening but please keep me informed and have me a priority also. He did not speak with me at all except after waiting 4 hours in pain to release me. Throughout that time I was asking for help with my pain since I was having issues due to the pain. Still nothing. The nurse told me she had to beg and bother him again and again to get 1 pain pill. Once I spoke with the doctor I thought I was going still be helped since my pain was at a level 9 and nothing helped. A few minutes later a new nurse came in saying I was being discharged from the hospital and to wait in the "waiting room or outside". I informed them that I was still in extreme pain and could not really move, but they just said "I'm sorry" and continued tell other nurses to move me. I further informed then that I was not happy with what is happening and kicking me out with helping me. Again all I heard from all 3 nurses that got involved were "I'm sorry". Unfortunately I'm sorry that I chose that hospital and never again. Overall I was not able to get off the bed to get into my chair without assistance from another male nurse. The nurses left me in the hallway in the ER not a waiting room and I was actually left in front of custodial room where I was moved since the employee needed to get in. Still in pain, I left without help. I was not mean, rude, or anything but kind about the situation. Don't send your loved ones here if you can go somewhere else! I would not want them to be treated like I was. Luckily I recorded the interaction of me getting kicked out to show how they treat their patients.

Caring, compassionate staff... a small hospital with peaceful grounds. A cafeteria & gift shop on site. Very clean. The medical and support staff are educated and knowledgeable.

Our 6-year-old son broke his arm, and we had to rush him to the emergency room. From the moment we arrived, the staff, nurses, and doctors were absolutely incredible. They took immediate care of him, kept us informed every step of the way, and showed such compassion during what was a very stressful time for our family. Yes, the visit was long, but we always felt reassured that he was receiving the best possible care. When we followed up with the orthopedic specialist, they told us the ER team had done an excellent job realigning the two broken bones and that the arm was already healing well. We are deeply grateful for the professionalism and kindness we experienced and would highly recommend this hospital to anyone in need of care.

I was treated in ER for appendix. From check into ER to discharge from hospital all hospital team, the RNs have done great job, very professional and caring. Each time that I pushed the call button for help within seconds someone always responded regardless of time of the day. I'd like to give an extra credit to my night RN "Monique". She was on top everything, I'd say she was perfectionist, caring and helpful. It is like a family environment, I'd say this was a family oriented hospital.

Was rushed to St. Louise Hospital mainly because living in Gilroy closest hospital when I was found unconscious in my home after 3 days suffering from pneumonia and several strokes. This hospital ICU nurtured me back to health medication and placing me on a ventilator. I'd like to thank the good Lord the whole staff, friends and my Son as I was given less that 10% to live. I'm still recovering several months later starting to walk again and feeling healthy. I'm a 5th generation Stanford Hospital person, however St. Louise Hospital saved my life! Thoughts and Prayers Staff! Thank You
