Dr Van Gompel assisted Dr Stone in my recent ankle surgery. My talus bone was crushed in a head on collision 3 years ago. They did a great job. They removed bone fragments in my joint, rerouted the tendons that got messed up in the accident, and debrieded the bone and did a cartilage transplant. I'm on the journey to recovery
I was definitely under his anointed knife today, almost no scars. Lines are from pressure stocking. Foot surgery so happy soon I will wear closed shoes. Next foot in November. He played my favorite music upon request during the surgery.Too bad I was out before it started playing. Had previous procedures by him - all great results NO Pain less Swelling Very polite and knowledgeable Stiches came out felt like a massage. Still no pain the whole few weeks. Amazing, talented and caring physician. Very informative too - explains what is going on, why it is happening and how the body responds. He did my Achilles surgery and there is limited scarring and the after care was so focused and thoughtful.
Dr. Joshua Van Gompel is really a fantastic doc. I had been to three other podiatrist prior to him that did not have any real insight or diagnosis for the problems I was having with my feet. He has been able to work with me to improve my foot pain significantly. He is professional, knowledgeable, friendly, kind and patient. His office team are also very lovely.
