She has terrible bedside manners. She did not even introduce herself to me or my husband. Through talking to her I came to know my condition was of no concern, but I did not know that. Thats why even though I have no health insurance I came in and paid out of pocket. I feel like because it was of no concern she was very rude. She even rolled her eyes in front of us.
I had not seen her in 5 years, although she is my primary care physician but she did not mention any routine check ups that I am over due for. She did not address my high diastolic blood pressure (91) that is abnormal for me. Then when she left the room there was nothing said, she just walked out. No goodbye. Will not visit her again. I have never wished 0 out of 5 stars was an option until now, because I definitely would have given her 0. Also parking lot is awfully small with mostly compact spaces.

Silva is the worst doctor I have ever encountered. I don't address her as a dr bc I have no respect for her as a doctor or a person. She's rude, arrogant, condescending, and has no compassion for her patience.
I brought my mom in to see her. She asked my mom what she wanted to be seen for. My mom told her she recently got involved in a car accident. She got a bad scrape on her arm. She's worried about the healing process because she is on a very high side of diabetes. She asked Silva if she could check her arm and do general check up since she hasn't seen Silvia for a year due to Covid. Silva literally told her "I can't check your arm and do general health in one visit. You need to pick your arm or general check up, and book another appointment for the 2nd exam." Of course she wants to bill the insurance twice for something she could have done in one visit (where are ethical and compassion nowadays???). I would have been ok if she said let me take a look at your arm to see if it needs immediate attention. If not then we can book another appointment for you. My mom showed her the arm like 3x and not once she would examine it to see if it needs immediate care. GREED SOB. My mom decided general exam since she is running low on her medication because she hasn't been to the doctor for a while. So my mom arm was never exam. It's irritated me the fact my mom told Silva that her diabetes is between 160-200. Silva kept saying that it's too high, but never once looked at the wound to make sure she's healing ok....ummm duh really??? what kind of doctor is that? I hope there's nothing wrong w my mom arm. If it gets worst due to her health condition and Silva's negligence, I'll make sure she hear from me.

Dr. Hoang has been my primary care physician for years. She always listens, is never demeaning, and when I have a problem she discusses it thoroughly and offers different approaches to solutions. She understands that I usually take a conservative approach to my health care. She explains the rational behind monitoring and treating chronic problems, and has always been direct and truthful. She gives me the tools to work with to make myself the healthiest I can be.

It's no stars. I only hit one star otherwise I would not able to review. Worse doctor I've ever seen. Honestly not sure if I can call her a doctor. I accompanied my daughter to her appointment even though she's 22. She came into the room didn't introduce herself or say hello. She had her eyes on her laptop for a while. This was my daughter's first check up with her. Our concerns were serious seasonal allergies, back pain (sciatica diagnosed by and ER doctor and a previous real doctor) and fibroids in her breast. She said for her allergies that even though she can give her medication which she didn't believe in she would just have to suffer. Her back problem she said sciatica was not the issue it was her exercising which we told her she just started going to the gym and she has had pain for 2 years. I asked about therapy she said that won't help just swin , stated again she didn't believe in medicine. The best one was.....the breast fibroids. I told her I had them very bad too and I've been getting mammograms yearly since I was 24 because cancer runs high in our family. And lately 3 more family members including my mom , aunt and her cousins were diagnosed with breast cancer. She said!!! You can't get cancer or a mammogram until you're 50!!!! Are you serious. That statement is moranic from a regular person but to have a so called doctor tell you that was beyond insulting!!!! Do not waste your time!!! This lady has no bedside manners, doesn't believe in meds and the rudest human I've encountered!!!!

Dr. Sylvia Hoang has been our family primary care doctor from 2002 to 2011 taking great care of us and our children since our youngest was two year old. Then we moved to the East Coast and just recently move back to the West Coast ~ 2018. She has helped us getting through various health events from toddler to old age such as seasonal flu and cold, allergy, diet, stress, excercise, travel, high blood pressure, etc. She is awesome, alway up to date on latest health info and medicine such as Shingrix Zoster vacine, various allergy medicine and combo, etc. Her assistant Helen is friendly, helpful, and easy to reach on matters such as pay our bills, get copies of our immunization records, schedule annual physicals, and get signed school sport physical forms. We have always able to get an appointment with Dr. Hoang within 2 days if we tell Helen that it is urgent. And we had a lot of that till our children graduated from high school. We chose Dr. Hoang (no relation to us) in 2002 because she is very easy to talk to and has great doctor-patient ettiquete and manner when working with both adults and children. It tooks us the whole 2002 year and several doctors before we decided that Dr. Hoang is the right primary care doctor for us. In each visit, Dr. Hoang listens first then provide various options that are most effective and best for her patients. That is exact what we want from our doctor, listen to us, inform us, and give us the options she think best for us.
