Center for Dermatology Cosmetic and Laser Surgery

I had a terrible experience at this office. I arrived only four minutes late because I couldn't find the suite and had to park on the other side of the building. Despite this, I was told I had to reschedule, even though the waiting room was full of patients who were still waiting to be seen. Clearly, the doctor was already behind schedule, yet they refused to accommodate me. To make matters worse, I was told that if I ever reschedule in 24 hours, I'd be charged $100 each time. What if I or my child have become suddenly sick? I've never experienced such rigid and unreasonable treatment at any other medical office. This shows me exactly how they value their horrible policies over patient care. I will not be returning.

This is probably the worst office of Derm I've ever been to. As I write the one star review, well overdue, I see on all the one star reviews this office responds back with generic, careless and robotic answers. I decided to change facilities to do vbeam because this office was 45 min closer. Boy was I wrong. One session and this totally unprofessional and inept office has ruined my face. I have damage from the vbeam session and I have spent years trying to build my barrier back. Providers will gaslight you to say laser cannot cause damage, but there are countless forums of people who have had their lives ruined that say otherwise. Not only did the provider ruin me for...probably forever ... the MA was passive aggressive, the front desk either doesn't answer, doesn't respond back or completely clueless, and the provider herself seemed upset at the staff and that she didn't get a lunch. Why one would complain about this to a patient is crazy to me. This office is very unprofessional. I would caution anyone from getting laser unless you find a derm. Who actually gives a crap. Most places that have these machines are in it for the $. Shame on this office for such careless practice under their medical license. It would probably be for the better to complain to the medical board about this office but these complaints are always hard to prove and the fine print saves the doctors every time. It is unbelievable that this place is still in business. Take caution. Go somewhere else. Even if you don't need laser, the initial appt was a joke. The doctor, who apparently is part owner, spent 5 seconds with me, stood up while I was talking to leave, and I later learned she charted things in her chart completely the opposite of what we talked about. Do you want a Derm who practices like this? Ask yourself before you come here.

they are SCAMMING patients into paying the specialist fees. I had an appointment set up with them and when I enquired what the co-pay/ deductible was, I was told it was $0 for me and insurance covers everything. I confirmed this again at the time of the visit with the person checking me in at the front desk and they said its true. Couple of days later I got a bill to my home for $300 saying I have a deductible with my insurance if I have to see a doc with them. They could've let me know this earlier before the appointment and I would've canceled it immediately. Now i have to deal with a $300 bill that is uncalled for.

Great staff. Very efficient and cordial. Tiffany Nguyen is knowledgable and decisive. Yvette runs a clean shop.

I have now had multiple procedures at the Fremont facility. I had a fairly large melanoma removed this last week. Dr. Cabral and the rest of the staff are great.
