Avoid. My mom switched to another cardiologist because she felt he was not taking good care of her. Poor bedside manner, and always anxious to leave the room. Since switching cardiologists, she has been off of three of the meds he started and feels much better. This was three years ago. Today we called, trying to get copies of a test for an upcoming surgery, and he refused to do so, citing she hasn't seen him in the last three years. He hung up on me. A patient's medical record belongs to the patient, not the office or the doctor. He had no right to refuse the records release.

Very disappointed with customer service on initial call. Firstly, I had called 2 times and left voice-mails requesting a call back to schedule for my mom who would be the patient but never received any call back. Finally on the 3rd attempt, I spoke to CHRISTINE. She took my mom's information (Medi-Cal) and then upon reviewing her insurance, she then stated they are fully booked for the next 6 months and referred me back to my mom's primary care doctor to request another cardiologist. This was very disappointing & frustrating since they could not simply return a call and could have just stated they are fully booked at the beginning of the call. The impression I got was that they do not want to accept new patients that have Medi-Cal. I hope I'm wrong but that's what CHRISTINE said that her "manager said". She then offered to make an appointment for 6 months out but I declined since my mom needs care now and can not wait to be seen next year!!

Warning. If you or your family plan to pick this dr. Steven K Le, Please be warned and stay away from him !! My parents are 91 and 94 years old, and my mom is disabled. My family has been having a lot of problems with Dr. Le for a long time; however, since my parents have been seeing him for many years, And my parents are not comfortable, switching to a new doctor. In the most recent doctor visit to see Dr. Le, with my sister and her husband; due to my mom's disability, she fell in the parking lot while trying to get into my sister's car and not able to get up. While My sister and her husband were trying to call for help, Dr. Le happened to walk by my mom in the parking lot, and he saw my mom had fallen and unable to get into the car. however, instead of stopping by to check on her, he just took a look at my mom from a distance and continued walking to his car. Any good Samaritan would have stopped and check if she is all right; however, in this case, Dr. Le had seen my parents just a couple hours before and they have been his patience for years. My parents have been seeing him for a few years now for heart medication and each time it is just a routine check up and he prescribed the same medication. Due to the extreme difficulty to transport my parents, my sister has requested that he prescribed their medication every three months instead of every two months. However, he refused to do so when every time they go to see him it is just a routine check up and giving out prescription.

My mom checked in ER last week and Dr. Steven Le evaluated her cardio conditions for hip surgery. He was very detailed and explained well her situation. He also checked again after her surgery to make sure she is free of cardio issues. Thanks Dr. Le for such kindness and caring.

They literally steal money from patients. I called in to make an appointment. My deductible was met. They didn't even check my insurance and asked me to pay upfront $500 to see the doctor. If I didn't agree, "don't come in". It's ridiculous! I ended up making an appointment with a different doctor. They didn't even ask me to pay anything. If they did, it would never be $500. I'm pretty sure this office wouldn't last long. Please avoid at all cost!
