NorthBay Health Vascular and Cardiothoracic Surgery

Anyone referred here who needs to reach the referral specialist (Lupe) is essentially unable to--voicemails and calls to the main desk go unanswered, making it impossible to schedule an appointment. Because of this ongoing issue, I will be advising our clinic to discontinue referrals to this location.

CARDIOLOGY - Dr. Mancherje, I don't know if I'm one of your first patients, dating back to the late 80s, but as you have learned over the years, I vett all of my doctors and medical teams very closely. And, "healthwise", I am an 'Odd Duck'. We've learned a lot about how other over the years; and it has been my distinct pleasure to call you more than an exceptional physician, but a friend. So, on one of your last days at Northbay, I want to take a moment to not only thank you for the wonderful care, but to wish you the very best, wherever that road may lead. And, as you look back on your years of practice, please remember that it was a life well led! As the 'old' song line says, "Thanks for the memories". Sheffy

How this place stays open and these people have jobs is an absolute embarrassment to the health care system and to NorthBay. My referral to see a cardiologist went through 4 weeks ago. I called 4x and left a voicemail and message with whoever answers their phone. Never got a call back. I even had my NP email them directly and still no response. This is a sensitive appointment that should not be taken seriously. Such a joke.

The doctors are very professional but the front desk staff is very rude. the appointment coordinator put me on hold for more than 15 minutes and when I called back I asked her when would the best time to call and she was very rude and told me that there is no better time because all day long her lines are busy. I've been trying to get a hold of them for a long time and I never get through the phone. more staff needs to be hired for the front desk and they need to be trained on having good customer service skills I understand the pressure is high nowadays but I work in the healthcare industry and I know there is a way to be kind to the patients. Because you don't know what they are going through they aren't going to the doctor because they want to but because they have to.

Impossible to make new patient appointments in this office. They don't pick up their phones. You get the answering service even in the middle of a weekday. Leaving multiple messages will be just a waste of time since no one ever call you back. It is scary to think this is a cardiology office. If you have any urgent heart problems, you will be on your own because there will be no one there to help you.
