Dr Ludington and Dr Tariq strive to provide compassionate care for heart disease prevention, treatment of coronary artery disease, fainting spells, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, as well as circulatory issues. Plaque Detect noninvasive ultrasound offered to evaluate whole body circulation for plaque painlessly and with no contrast or radiation. A new comprehensive weight management program is also offered. Two convenient locations (Encinitas and Oceanside). On site echo, stress test, Holter monitoring, carotid ultrasounds and nuclear stress tests. New patients accepted and appointments are available within a week. Pre-operative clearance appointments for surgery are also prioritized to help avoid surgery delays.

I can't speak highly enough of Dr Ludington and her staff. They have been taking great care of me for over four years now. Dr Ludington really listens and trys to provide treatment options that line up with your own beliefs and goals. That's rare in a physician, in my experience. She also was one of the first providers with the initial Covid vaccines, back when we seniors were all so desperate to get it. And let's not forget that when the Ukrainian war broke out, guess who flew there to offer medical assistance? She's wonderful, both as a cardiologist and as a human being. I feel lucky to be under her care.

Was not happy with a large healthcare system here in San Diego. They didnt seem to be knowledgeable specifically for womens heart health problems. Sought out this female cardiologist, Dr Katherine Luddington, who specializes in women's health issues. My previous male cardiologist said there wasnt anything he could do for me since I couldn't tolerate statins. Dr. Luddington put me through the steps to try for a new drug which lowers LDL levels to very low healthy levels. I am now on the new drug and feel like there's really a doctor who cares very much for her patients. Her assistant Jacinta Tran is also an excellent asset to the practice.
