It was freezing days and nights when our split system stopped reliably pumping warm air. Our 1st available maintenance date was months away. When the system performance deteriorated further, Hassler dispatched Technician Paul on the Saturday we called and he arrived to address the problem within 3 hours. Paul was personable, professional, and thorough during the service visit. He took the time necessary to investigate, identify, and remedy the problem so that we had heat in the house again on a very cold weekend. The price was more than reasonable for the time and expertise required to do the job.

We've used many HVAC companies in the many homes we've lived in. Hassler communicated with us regarding our appt. and of any delays. The technician that came to us was very courteous, explained each aspect of his inspection of our heating unit, gave us honest suggestions after troubleshooting our issue, and left us with a very satisfied diagnosis of our old unit. Hassler has installed three heat pump systems for my family (1 at our old home, and 2 at our new home). For both installs and servicing, I've appreciated their attention to detail and communication. We recently replaced our roof and the pan beneath the air handler in our attic had some debris, which the tech cleaned up without my asking. When one of our units had an error due to a small refrigerant leak, the office booked me for the first available service appointment and then followed up later that evening when an earlier appointment became available. The tech who resolved the problem (Paul) did an admirable job of diagnosing, locating, and temporarily sealing the leak, which was so slight that it took nine months to develop symptoms. I'm guessing we could find a less expensive contractor, but I highly value how Hassler stands by their work and has excellent communication.

It hurts to write this because Mike and Hassler have given both me and my daughter great service in the past. But the furnace they installed 3 years ago has been malfunctioning. They came out a month ago and fixed it, I thought, but a month later the same problem has occurred and not only could they not schedule someone for two weeks, but also wanted to charge me another 90 bucks for this visit. I found someone else with good web reviews who could come the next day.
