Elisabeth Abdin, M.D.

Dr. Abdin is an amazing doctor. Aside from being smart and competent, she's incredibly patient, kind, and compassionate. She takes the time to listen, answer questions, and develop the right treatment plan. She never hesitates to make referrals or order tests if appropriate, and she goes the extra mile to connect her patients with resources, both within and outside of Sutter. I always feel very comfortable with her because she's one of the few doctors I've had who actually treats me like a person, not just a patient. My family and I travel pretty far just to keep seeing her - she's that awesome.

I have been a patient of Dr. Abdin for years, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She is a truly exceptional Primary Care Physician who embodies everything a patient could ask for. Dr. Abdin is a compassionate and kind physician who always makes me feel heard and respected. Beyond her wonderful bedside manner, she is clearly a knowledgeable and professional expert in her field. I deeply appreciate her comprehensive care and the trusting relationship we have built over the years.

Dr. Abdin was recommended to us by a case manager several years ago and has since then helped to prolong and improve the life of my mother in law immensely. Dr. Abdin is compassionate and approachable and listens to our needs, concerns and thoughts and adapts treatments to meet cultural and personal desires where possible and explains why not in a caring tone when not possible. The team that supports Dr. Abdin have always appeared too notch, and follow up quickly after hospital visits to ensure care needs are met. Dr. Abdin and her team have also always been very responsive in the MHO portal, which helps immensely when life is busy to ensure care without having to take time out for an appointment or call for small needs. I hope Sutter see Dr. Abdin's value and cultivate more doctors like her and provide her what she needs to continue to practice effectively.

Dr. Abdin has been my primary doctor for years and I'm very happy with the treatment she's provided. She takes the time to get to know her patients and she and the nursing staff have always made me feel very comfortable. She answers all of my questions and explains treatment options so that we can make an educated decision together. I find that she and her office staff respond quickly when I message a question or refill request.

Dr. Abdin is an exceptional and highly skilled doctor who is directly responsible for the quality of life I enjoy today. On 3 separate occasions she was primarily responsible for the discovery of serious illnesses early which led to complete cures! Two of these illnesses were missed by other major medical organizations and multiple doctors who worked in them. I am very thankful for Dr. Abdin whose diagnostic skill most likely saved my life.
