I would hesitate to select this doctor as my primary care physician based on my experience while he was caring for my mother at both Queen of the Valley Hospital in Covina CA and in a nursing facility for eighteen days. A few concerns arose during her stay.
Initially, everything seemed satisfactory. As an internist, his role was to coordinate the hospital team and seek the best outcomes for his patients. However, I observed that communication and follow-up could have been improved. Multiple specialists prescribed various treatments, and I was concerned that some procedures might have also posed risks.
Throughout her stay, he saw my mother sometimes once a day, provided diagnoses, and gave instructions on her care. When complications occurred, they often arose outside of his daily visits, and I found it difficult to reach him directly, as only the nursing staff could contact him.
He mentioned that my mother should be discharged once she was stable, and I remember him saying that the patient's well-being should come first. However, there was an occasion when she was discharged despite not being fully stable after medication was administered to lower her blood pressure.
After discharge, my mother developed gastrointestinal issues, which prompted her return to the hospital. A diagnosis of hemorrhoids was made, but no exams confirmed this. She faced additional health problems, such as oxygen shortages and indigestion, which worsened her condition. Ultimately, she passed away. She died in a sad and painful way, which was very difficult for our family.
While I understand that managing such complex health issues is challenging, I felt there were gaps in her care and communication. My intention is to share my personal experience, and I understand everyone's situation can differ.
This review reflects my personal viewpoint and should not be taken as medical advice. I recommend that anyone seeking medical care carefully evaluate all options and communicate openly with healthcare providers. I did a decision, which was not satisfactory, but it was too late.

He was my dad's doctor and now he is mine. He would do in person whenever I was in the hospital to make sure my specific medical needs were met. I am paraplegic and he cares about how I treat my body, he constantly recommends what's best for me and not what's good for his pockets, it's a good balance. If he is not able to help you directly he will refer you to someone who can. I am still using all the practices he has referred me to. He cares and you can tell. His staff is very accommodating to my constant need of prescriptions for medical supplies. I have recommended several friends and family to him and they are all satisfied with his services. I have been with Dr Khedia for over 10+ years now and could not ask for a better physician! My health life has greatly improved under his care and I trust this Dr to do the right thing for his patient's best interest. Thank you for taking time to read my honest review from the heart.

I had an exceptional experience at this doctor's office. Dr. Khedia is an absolute professional who genuinely cares about their patients. Staffs made me feel welcome and comfortable. Enriquez and Ingrid are always super helpful.
The office itself is clean, organized, and well-maintained, which adds to the overall positive experience. Scheduling appointments was easy, and I never had to wait long to be seen.
I appreciate the level of care and attention I received here, and I highly recommend Dr. Khedia and this office to anyone seeking quality healthcare.
He also does botox and skin treatments too. Super natural and painless.

The doctor is very knowledgeable of medicine but oblivious to his sub-par office staff. I was a new patient before the pandemic and needed to get all my lady exams for doctor to have an updated file on me being new to his practice. I received a referral from his office and immediately called for an appointment. I was told that that particular doctor does not accept my insurance?I called dr. Khedia's office back and was told they would send out a new referral for this test......it has been 2 1/2 years and no new referral???
I have not had Covid or any serious condition but not feeling very confident about future care.
