Dr. Avinash Khitri

Dr. Khitri is truly an exceptional cardiologist. From the moment I met him, I could tell he genuinely cares about his patients and takes his time to listen. He explains everything thoroughly, with patience and clarity, and makes sure you leave feeling informed and confident -- not rushed or confused. What stands out most about Dr. Khitri is his balance of expertise and compassion. He's incredibly knowledgeable and detail-oriented, yet kind and approachable. You can tell he's not just practicing medicine -- he's dedicated to truly helping people live healthier lives. The entire office reflects his professionalism and warmth. The staff is efficient, welcoming, and respectful of your time. I left my visit feeling deeply grateful to have found a doctor who combines skill, empathy, and integrity so seamlessly. This doctor and office does not care about the health and wellbeing of their patients. I have been going to this doctor off and on for several years and have had periods of time where I left to seek treatment from other cardiologists because I would leave my appointments with Dr. Khitri feeling dismissed and rushed. I have never really felt like my concerns and symptoms were taken seriously. Yes, he would run the occasional test here and there, but would downplay what I am going through in a very apathetic way. In addition to this, over the past few years, Dr Khitri has been almost impossible to see without having to wait at least 6 months for an appointment. I had an appointment scheduled for next week, and the office called me this morning to cancel the appointment and told me they would have to reschedule me for September, which is six months away. I explained that I am experiencing symptoms and it didn't seem to matter. I was transferred to his assistant who was rude, snarky and inconsiderate from the start. It upset me so much that I ended up hanging up on her. I will never go back to see this doctor or to this facility in general. I will be going back to an older cardiologist I used to see in LA who actually cares. I would advise anyone with legitimate heart issues to seek other doctors.
