I must share my deeply concerning experience with Dr. Tripp's office and their referral partner Centrelake Imaging regarding my 84-year-old father's care. Over the past 2-3 months, my father's health has declined significantly - he's lost considerable weight, stopped eating properly, and has gone from an active senior who played pool and did yard work to someone struggling with daily activities. Despite these clear signs of deterioration, we've encountered a shocking lack of empathy and medical urgency. For 14 weeks, we've been unable to complete a needed PET scan due to a series of administrative failures and poor communication: 1. When informed of my father's claustrophobia, they prescribed Xanax which proved inadequate for the procedure 2. Their subsequent referral for sedation was to a facility that hasn't performed sedated PET scans in over 5 years 3. On our most recent attempt, we arrived to find the technician had gone home sick - with no one bothering to notify us beforehand, despite my father having taken medication in preparation 4. They've now denied our request for alternative medication (Valium) that might help with the procedure The most disappointing aspect has been the apparent lack of concern for my father's deteriorating condition. We've made multiple trips, spoken to leadership and nursing staff, and still have no resolution. The coordination between Dr. Tripp's office and Centrelake Imaging has been extremely poor, leading to wasted time when my father's health is clearly worsening. We are now seeking care elsewhere. I would strongly caution anyone, especially those with elderly family members, to consider other options for their medical care. The lack of proactive communication, empathy, and proper care coordination we've experienced has been unacceptable.
