Dr. Chana is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Chana completed his Medical Degree at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. His residency was completed at Northwestern University in Chicago, IL where he received the Excellence in Teaching Award (2005). He then completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA where he was elected chief cardiology fellow. Lastly, he finished his Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the John Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Chana is a Cardiologist at Pacific Cardiovascular Associates Medical Group (PCA), he also speaks fluent Spanish.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with my visit and Dr. Chana. He was personable and very easy to talk to. Staff were also friendly. It's good to go to a doctor and be able to ask questions without being rushed out the door. Keep up the good work.
The medical check-up and consult experience was so uplifting and positive. Attention given was truly with TLC - tender loving care. The receptionist and the medical assistant, Ms Lorena made sure of one's comfort and complete care and attention are upcoming. The doctor Dr Amar, truly suits his name, attended to me with complete professionalism, understanding and knowledge of my condition and did address directly my health condition and needs bulls-eye. I know for sure he did review my chart before facing me as it did take some time before he did show up. My primary physician, Dr Shende did give the best choice after Dr Miller, my previous cardiologist, retired. Dr Amar Chana and staff are highly recommendable.
