Dr. Lim is our hero! The surgeon's choice for a cardiac interventionalist! My 91 year old dad suffered a NSTEMI and had unstable angina and signs of right heart failure. Many cardiologists would not not have done any intervention for a 91 year old and bypass surgery would have been of great risk. The excellent Dr. Christopher Chen arranged for Dr. Wayland Lim to perform my dad's cath. Dr. Lim's honest, confident, no-nonsense attitude as well as his experience and good outcomes gave my dad the confidence to proceed. Dr. Lim skillfully placed two stents, saving my dad's life and reversing his signs of heart failure. We are forever in his debt. When picking a cardiologist and writing reviews, don't be shallow. Pick the one with great skills and judgment. That is all that matters. Dr. Lim is the best!

I rarely write a review regarding a Doctor as I am confident their education, degrees and years of experience should speak for itself. However, I felt Dr. Wayland Lim should have "4 stars" rather than the "1 star" listed in Reviews In November, 2016, I had a heart attack while on a visit to Southern California. I was hospitalized there & treated for a very high buildup of plaque in one coronary artery. It was very scary as it was my first heart attack but my family has a history of heart disease. When I returned to the Bay Area, I followed-up with my primary care Doctor and she recommended Dr. Lim as a Cardiologist. I have been seeing Dr. Lim since February, 2017 and I am impressed with his knowledge, caring attitude and sense of humor. Our first appointment was very professional & I liked how he answered my questions in an uncondescending way. I follow his suggestions on physical therapy, diet & medication and am pleased that 2 years later, as a woman & a senior- I feel strong again!

Dr. Lim seems to care more about his ego than his patient Myself. I asked simple lay persons questions. Dr. Lim answered broadly and mislead me to believe I had a heart attack. When in fact it was an elevated Troponin due to dialysis. He has a problem articulating his diagnosis from the actual diagnosis. I give a no confidence to Dr. Lim
