Dr. Mehran Moussavian, DO, FACC

I was having extremely poor service from the VA La Jolla and wanted a doctor that would listen and have my health as their priority. My first visit was great. Dr Moussavian listened and made changes to my meds. Every visit after though was horrible. I would wait for an hour, be seen and then left in the waiting room for 2 or more hours and told they will be right with me. Dr Moussavian also pushed some new therapy only that location had and when I could NOT make the commitment I was dropped as a patient. Also, when I had telephonic appointments, twice I called in and was left on hold for 45 to an hour and then told I had to reschedule.

Dr. Moussavian is one of the worst cardiologist in San Diego. He is always rushing you out of his office and could care less about your wellbeing.

Dr. Moussaavian is an awesome physician. He is also a D.O. If you don't know what that is...google it. He takes care of the whole patient as a person. His colleagues in office are top notch also. The interactions and visits I had with Dr. Nancy Ly and Dr. Burhan Mohamedali and previously with Dr. Mariusz Wysoczanski were all in all a great team lead by a great leader.

I have been very pleased with all the service provided with Dr Moussavian and also assistants The wait hasnt been long but overall very good and happy to have Dr Moussavian for my Doctor:

When it comes to cardiovascular this team cares and helps each individual patient understand how to care for themselves better too. And the staff is extremely knowledgeable , helpful and caring.
