David Hansen, MD - Chula Vista Internal Medicine

Our family has been with Dr David Hansen for 25 years, and we have loved the care we've received from him, his nurses, and his staff. As our children have aged out of Children's Primary Care, they've joined us in seeing him as well. We also have had great confidence in the various NPs and other doctors who have joined his staff over the years. If you want someone who is compassionate and patient, and will work closely with you, Dr Hansen's practice is the place for you. Come early--parking lot can fill up. They have after hours doctor or NP on call, which we've used a few times over the years. They also have participated in two different online platforms with apps that make it easy to leave messages, see testing results and upcoming appointments. They are quick to return online messages. Highly recommend!

Dr. Hansen is the best doctor I have ever had! He is caring, compassionate, and talks to me on my level and doesn't use doctor-ese. He was also my late husband's doctor. Dr. Hansen gave him the best of care and made all the appropriate and necessary referrals. Dr.Hansen was very caring and compassionate upon learning of his death.He is indeed a great doctor and man!

My mom has seen Dr Hansen for years. She won't see anyone else. Scheduling an appointment is a breeze. In office or phone appointments are usually given on the same day or the next day. We have no complaints regarding the office staff or the medical staff. Dr Hansen is very caring and thorough.

Excellent Doctor. respectful, courteous. Listens subjectively. Great eye contact and just a pleasure to visit. The front office staff however is another story.

Dr Hansen is a good doctor...but the counter receptionist is a complete idiot...try go there & ask that women you will get frustrated answers.
