I called this office to inquire if Dr. Paul was accepting new patients, as I had recently moved to the area, and was seeking a Primary Care Physician. The assistant who took my call was very curt, and said "no". I explained that I was having difficulty finding a physician in this area, and asked if she might know or have any recommendations of providers who were accepting new patients, and again was told "no". I thanked her for her time, and as I was searching for the disconnect button on my phone, I overheard her (she had failed to disconnect her line) having a snide conversation with another employee about my inquiries and they laughed. It was very unprofessional and disrespectful. I am thankful that I did not become a patient at this office; the front office appears to lack the maturity level needed to deal with the public in a kind manner.

One of the best providers in Chico, CA. Being in healthcare I really appreciate a provider that is engaged with me and doesn't make me feel like a number or a checkbox they have to check. True interest in my well-being and making sure I stay on top of my annual check-ups and that makes my well-being the center of our visit!

Reading the negative reviews seems like they are talking about a different doctor. Dr. Paul has always been kind caring and professional. Never felt rushed. Never have to wait for long for appointments. Really great doctor

I have been seeing Dr Paul for almost 10 years now and she is wonderful. My appointments never feel rushed and she truly makes me feel important and cared for.

I have worked in health care for 45 years. As a patient of Laura Lowdermilk, I am so blessed to find a competent and caring medical advocate. She takes her time during my appointment to be sure I have a complete understanding of my lab results and any other diagnostic results. My fear is she will soon retire and I will be left looking for a comparable replacement.
